Chai Tahini Smoothie

 1 frozen banana
 ½ cup almond milk (or non-dairy milk of choice
 2 tbsp tahini*
 3 tbsp concentrated chai tea
 45 ice cubes
 1 tbsp chia seeds, flax seeds and hemp seeds
 ¼ tsp maca powder
 1 scoop of protein powder of your choice
 Dash of cinnamon and vanilla extract

Steep a bag of chai tea in 2-3 Tbsp of boiling water to make a concentrated tea.

Add all ingredients (including tea) in a blender and blend until combined.

*Note: Tahini is sesame seed paste. It has the consistency of natural (non-hydrogenated) peanut butter. Tahini is an excellent source of calcium, magnesium and vitamin E.
