Golden Milk

Golden milk is an anti-inflammatory elixir. Turmeric is known for it’s high antioxidant content and anti-inflammatory power. Combining turmeric with the soothing healthy fats found in coconut milk makes this drink an immune booster that’s ready to calm whole body inflammation.

 1 Coconut milk
 1 cup Filtered water
 1 tsp Turmeric (fresh or ground)
 1 tsp Cinnamon
 ¼ tsp Ginger (powder)
 1 tsp Raw honey
 ½ tsp Black pepper (increases absorption)

Pour all ingredients into a sauce pan and whisk together until combined. Heat slowly until the liquid is hot and the coconut oil is melted. Do not boil.

Drink warm.

Note: You can make this recipe ahead of time and heat one cup at a time to drink. Store it in an air tight container or mason jar in the fridge for up to one week.
